The Bread Bandits

The Bread Bandits began as a personal concept project in 2020. Initially the brand was a modern twist on the much-loved sandwich shop, focused on fast-paced lunch breaks for on-the-go types, but specialising in organic, sustainable and high quality produce. In 2022 the design was licensed by French food company, Luna Foods, who had a very similar approach to food quality and target market but also intend to produce pre-made sandwiches for supermarkets.

The Bread Bandits aesthetic is intended to set itself apart from other brands, on a shelf full of pre-made packaging this is the brand that stands out from the crowd. The striking blue and pink palette is playful and contemporary, whilst the character of the bandit is there to engage with the customer. His humorous presence feels as though he’s telling a story, which is a highly important and unique component in the visual identity.
